It all started with winning a 1st grade coloring contest for Fire Prevention Week.
Art has always been my passion and I love to draw. It didn't take me long to know I wanted to pursue a career in design.
Fast forward to college graduation and my first grown up job - Marketing Manager for a manufacturing company. With a couple of years under my belt, and a young 20-something spirit, I decided to move to New York City. I worked for another manufacturing company while I was there, that constructed menu boards, like the ones you see at Jimmy Johns, Pizza Hut and even pro football stadiums.
After some time in the Big Apple my path took me to Chicago where I worked in design and marketing for two large Chicago Real Estate companies. After almost 6 years in the Windy City I decided it was time to come home and be closer to my family again. I continued a couple more years in the Iowa Real Estate marketing industry before finding a job in Advertising. After 4 years of growth in the digital world and learning a lot more about web design I started to find a passion for Web Development and that's where I am today. I love designing, coding and writing CSS.
